Right before moving to Los Angeles in 2007, Stacey met acclaimed Broadway and film composer agent Richard Kraft and his son, Nicky because of their obsession with all things Disney. The next thing Stacey knew she was flying to LA to be the on-camera host of what the Kraft’s called “the most overproduced home movie ever” in their documentary film, Finding Kraftland. The trio would go on to travel to dozens of film festivals around the country winning awards for this zany, heartfelt, funny film.

Stacey Celebrates 15 Years as Disney Resort TV Host

On May 5, 2020, Stacey celebrated her 15-year Disney-versary as the effervescent host millions love to watch and quote on her Walt Disney World Resort TV channel.

Her reign began with the premiere of the Top 7 Must Sees at WDW on May 5, 2005. Then in 2009, the Must Do Disney TV show began with Stacey staying on board as the host and it’s still running today, 24/7/365.

On May 5th, 2020, Stacey took to social media platforms – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok – posting a video to commemorate the day and to thank Disney, the incredible production teams over the years, and most especially the legions of fans who’ve shared their love and happiest times in their lives with Stacey. It’s truly one of Stacey’s favorite days of the year and she’s so grateful for the special opportunity she has been given.

With the uncertain times we are currently living in due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was nice to share the magical memories made together over the last 15 years. Until the Disney Parks are safely reopened… Stacey wants everyone’s Must Do’s to be to stay safe, stay healthy, stay happy!

Since 2005, May 5th is a very special day for Stacey and the millions of Disney fans who have tuned into her resort TV channel, or the countless video uploads on YouTube, to watch her guide them through all the amazing things to do and see at Walt Disney World.
Stacey calls this magical day her “Disney-versary” because on 5/5/05 the TOP 7 MUST SEES campaign began then MUST DO DISNEY followed it in 2009. The gig was only supposed to last for one year, but 14+ years and counting, Stacey still reigns as the charming, vivacious and sassy hostess with the magical mostest that everyone looks forward to watching and quoting!
